From 28 August to 6 September 2026, Malinska will once again celebrate the sea, tradition and maritime heritage. Homo na jidra 2026 brings a rich multi-day programme featuring regattas of traditional boats and sailing cruisers, workshops in maritime and boatbuilding skills, exhibitions, lectures, demonstration sailing, as well as evening festivities and live music.
Special emphasis is placed on preserving and showcasing the local maritime tradition, with activities and events for all generations.

SUNDAY, 6 SEPTEMBER
11:00–14:00 – “Roses of the Sea”, the first regatta of traditional boats with all-female crews in the Adriatic Malinska, harbour and surrounding waters
14:00 – End of the regatta, followed by a gathering and awards ceremony on the rooftop of the DUBoak Maritime Heritage Interpretation Centre, featuring DJ ANA ANTONOVA
16:00–18:00 – Hauling the boats out of the water (crane / Krk County Port Authority, Malinska Branch)
