On 22 July, Mirine will welcome two artists whose careers have been shaped by performances with leading European orchestras and appearances in prestigious concert halls. Lucija Stilinović Churikova, principal flutist of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, and Pedro Ribeiro Rodrigues, an acclaimed Portuguese guitarist and chamber musician, bring to Sepen Bay an exceptional level of instrumental artistry.
This international duo combines the lyrical elegance and technical brilliance of the flute with the precision and rich tonal palette of the classical guitar. Their performance in the setting of the early Christian basilica is more than a concert—it is a celebration of chamber music at its finest, where every breath and every vibration of the strings complement one another in perfect harmony. From Baroque masterpieces to contemporary harmonies, Lucija and Pedro breathe life into the ancient surroundings of Mirine with interpretations refined through years of study and performances at some of the world’s most prestigious music academies and festivals.
Set beneath the stars and surrounded by centuries-old stone walls, audiences will experience a musical dialogue that transcends borders and traditions, creating an atmosphere of intimacy, elegance and timeless beauty.
Join us for an evening where international experience, technical excellence and the serene grandeur of ancient architecture come together in perfect harmony.
