Thursday, May 29, 2025, is traditionally dedicated to the celebration of the Feast of the Ascension (Spasovo) and the local custom of Sensa. The day’s program begins at 10:00 AM with a market of local products on Ivan Klobučarić Square.

At 5:00 PM, a Holy Mass will be held at the parish church of St. Apollinaris in Bogovići, during which cheese and wine are blessed. The highlight of the day is the traditional youth race for cheese in front of the church.

The evening festivities starts at 8:00 PM with the Cheese Fest on Ivan Klobučarić Square, featuring a rich selection of local cuisine prepared by restaurateurs who have joined the Festival. Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, musical performances will be provided by Mih & Me and the band Vruja, blending traditional Istrian sounds with a modern twist.
