The first weekend in August is traditionally packed with entertainment, culture, tradition, gourmet food, and sports.
Fishermen’s Days is one of Baška’s oldest island events, dating back to 1910. What began as a local competition is now the centerpiece of the summer season—celebrated by many.

Fishing Days Concerts

• August 1 – Giuliano & Diktatori at the Old Pier
  A big opening concert by Giuliano and his band. With over two decades of career, Giuliano is synonymous for emotional ballads and pop-rock hits, while Diktatori bring powerful performances to elevate the evening. Expect live favorites like “Jugo” and “Kako ću volit to ludo more.”
• August 2 – Mauro Staraj & La Banda and Dellboys Band
  Mauro Staraj, Matulj singer-songwriter known for his energetic performances and bond with the crowd, mixes Chakavian dialect and Mediterranean flair with a Tex‑Mex rock’n’roll show. Joined by Dellboys Band for another unforgettable night of Ribarski spirit.
• August 3 – Klapa Iskon
  A highlight of the Fishermen’s Days: Croatia’s most renowned klapa, Klapa Iskon, formed in 2000. Their powerful and modern interpretations of Dalmatian harmony, performed by five voices—Vedran Harašić, Ivan Žanić, Alen Babić, Zvonimir Kovačić, and Ante Blažević—promise an emotional musical journey.
