Play: “Skliske vježbe”
Performed by Mario Lipovšek Battifiaca and Irena Grdinić
9:30 PM – St. Lucy’s Complex, Jurandvor
“Đurđa and Franko are the most famous married couple on Kvarner. They do not hide their love — not for each other, but for food and drink. They loved each other long ago, before their marriage turned into darkness. Today they live together, remembering the days of love and looking forward only to good digestion.
We got to know their marital experiences in the plays Casabianca and 4 Funerals and a Wedding, and their alter egos, Irena Grdinić and Mario Lipovšek Battifiaca, have prepared a new play, Skliske vježbe, with the message: marriage is (not) always a song. But those who sing mean no harm. And those who think too much are not in the mood for singing!”
