DESCRIPTION:The 4Islands Epic Kvarner-Croatia is a mountain bike race offering a unique riding experience on four Kvarner islands: Krk\, Cres\, Unije and Lošinj over five days. Baška is the host of the first two stages\, which will take place on April 14 and 15\, 2026. During the five race days\, participants will ride a total of 300 km\, with an elevation gain of 6\,500 m. The route will cover a variety of terrains across some of the most beautiful locations on the islands. The race is intended for recreational and professional mountain bikers (who will be grouped in teams of two)\, especially those who are looking forward to an early start to the season and collecting points. Since 2018\, the race has been scored by UCI\, the international MTB rating system. In 2022\, the 4 Islands MTB Croatia race became part of the elite worldwide Epic Series\, which is part of the Ironman Group.

DESCRIPTION:  \nThe choir will sing after the Holy Mass in the Church of Saint Stephen in Dobrinj around 11:30 am. \nSince 2025\, the president and artistic co-director of the ZLP is Dr. Sc. Darko Kristović\, MD\, a specialist in anesthesiology\, a subspecialist in intensive care\, employed at the Dubrava Clinical Hospital. As an organist\, he has traditionally held organ concerts in the Dubrovnik Cathedral on the feast of the Assumption for about thirty years. He is the recipient of the public recognition “Dubrovnik Award” for 2023. for exceptional contribution to the field of art and humanitarian work.\nDuring its 55-year existence\, the choir has performed more than 500 times at professional and social gatherings of doctors\, at congresses\, symposia\, professional gatherings of socially vulnerable and underrepresented groups (e.g. in homes for the elderly and disabled\, in a society for the blind and visually impaired)\, mass celebrations and at independent concerts. During this period\, the choir performed in numerous cities in Croatia and Europe (including cities such as Ljubljana\, Maribor\, Geneva\, Zurich\, Trieste\, Mainz\, Hamburg\, Rome\, Graz\, Budapest and Ohrid). The choir performed on radio and television several times and released several recordings\, such as Carmen Medicorum\, Croatian Folk Songs from Međimurje\, 25 Years\, Hote\, o\, ljudi sim – Rodil se je Isus.

DESCRIPTION:In 2026 the Infeld Cultural Center in Dobrinj\, Croatia will celebrate its 25th anniversary. The “LOVE” exhibition reflects the diversity of the Infeld Collection.  \nAs a universal human emotion\, love is multifaceted\, evolves over time\, and continually offers artists fresh inspiration. \nThe exhibition at the Infeld Cultural Centre traces the history of love from original sin to the quest for freedom. It features 120 works by female artists (Ursula Probst\, Ida Buchmann\, Nada Svegovic-Budaj\, Mara Puskaric-Petras) and male artists (Ernst Fuchs\, Allen Jones\, Romero Britto\, Franjo Klopotan\, Johann Hauser\, Friedrich Schröder-Sonnenstern)\, shedding light on key turning points in the history of love as well as the subtle nuances of tender affection. \nOpening hours: \nJuly and August\nopen daily except Monday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.\nSeptember\nopen daily except Monday 10 a.m. to 1. p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.\nFree Admission.

SUMMARY:Ricardo Staraj and Midnight blues band concert
DESCRIPTION:A poet from Rijeka (living in Mošćenička Draga)\, author of ten books of poetry\, two monographs\, one biography and a number of travelogues and tourist catalogues\, member of the Croatian Writers’ Association\, traveler and journalist\, organizer of the cultural summer of Mošćenička Draga and its surroundings\, performer and musician. For several years (since 2012) he has been creating and performing with his Midnight blues band consisting of Dejan Turk on drums\, Marko Sedlak on guitar\, Vedran Mijić on bass guitar\, Josip Rubinić on trumpet\, Mauro Staraj as a frequent guest on keyboards\, Dean Černeka – video art. Their concerts are an excellent blend of half-sung expressive poetry\, blues\, rock and jazz\, all spiced up with video art and photographs by Dean Černeka. In addition to their original works\, they also play blues standards by the Doors\, Muddy Waters\, Blues Brothers\, Tom Waits\, John Lee Hooker\, Stones\, etc. Numerous performances at the Opatija Summer Stage (small stage)\, Rijeka (Filodramatica\, Tunel club\, Caffe bar Nad urom\, Arca Fiumana ship\, River Pub\, Trsat)\, Zagreb\, as well as Slovenia and northern Italy\, Slovakia and the Czech Republic\, testify to the quality of this project.
